Alger Precision Machining continues it’s partnership with local schools in developing our workforce. This past month we had visits from Technical Employment Training (TET) and Norco College. The TET visit was to continue the long relationship between training and manufacturing opportunities that we have enjoyed. Laiken Reyes, Student Support Specialist, bought two students to show the real working of a precision screw machine job shop. The students were fascinated with how fast we can produce a high precision part as well as the number of parts we produce daily.
The Norco College visit was an introductory meeting and tour of what we do and what we are looking for in job candidates. The representatives from Norco College; Carlos Vasquez (Apprentice Director), Cynthia Acosta (Instructional Department Specialist) & Paul Van Hulle (Instructor) were equally impressed with the versatility and capabilities of Alger. We look forward to developing a fruitful relationship with their program in the near future.
This is one way the we, as a company, continue to stay competitive and successful even during challenging times.
